Ethanol company Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: GPRE) has been on a tremendous run since its IPO at $10. Right now the stock is sitting at $41.50 with a 52-week range of 21.60 - 49.50.
The company as of now doesn’t produce any ethanol but is in the process of building an ethanol plant in Iowa. Updated pictures on its website show that the construction process has begun.
On April 27th, one of its Directors, Wayne Hoovestol, purchased 1500 shares for $42.17 for a total price of $63,255. This stock is worth keeping an eye on near term.
